A Grand Homecoming

If only every newborn received a homecoming as warm and loving as Sebastian did this past weekend.  It started before we even left the hospital.  Sammy and Brie drew pictures for their new baby brother...
and picked out balloons for him, too!
Meanwhile, we got Sebastian into his little going-home outfit, secured him into his big siblings' car seat and headed home.
"Greetings, Siblings.  I come in peace."
Can you tell that Sammy and Brie could barely contain themselves?? And they immediately assumed the roles of his big brother and big sister??  Sammy told us repeatedly that he thought Sebastian was a "cutie pie" and Brie asked him over and over, "Hi, Baby. What do you think of me? What do you think of me, Baby?"
Here they are holding him for the first time...so very sweet.

How else have we welcomed Sebastian into the De Falco Household?? Well, the weather's been really nice, so we've enjoyed going out for walks...
And enjoying group snuggles...
as well as kisses...
long talks...
toe tickling...
hugging...
secret whispering...
and sincere admiring.

And, of course, we can't help but hold and adore, adore, adore...

Like I said, if only every baby got this much love in his first days of life. It's safe to say, "We LOOOOVE Sebastian and cannot get enough of him!"  So glad he's finally here!!

P.S.  Remember how on this night last year, Beth and I went to see New Kids on the Block?  Well, now Sebastian is our new kid on the block!  We've come a long way in one year!!
