Happy Memorial Day and a look back...

The four of us had one of the nicest 3-day weekends ever this Memorial Day weekend. Not only did we not travel (yay!), but Tony did not go to work today (double yay!). So we celebrated with...

Pool time!
This is sweet Brie in a little bathing suit that Gammy made back in 1981...it was Auntie B's!! Isn't it ADORABLE??!!



And popsicles at Locopops! Yum!

Brie loved the cucumber-mint popsicle we shared!
Sammy thought his strawberries-and-cream was the best!




We also tried out Tutti Frutti, the new frozen yogurt shop near our house. Brie agreed...it was gooooooood!

Though I didn't capture more of the weekend with photos--including Sammy and Brie wearing red, white & blue in honor of this important day--I probably should mention that we did do things this weekend other than consume frozen treats! We went for long walks, visited the Life & Science Museum, and took a trip to the mall, which included a stop at Dairy Queen. OK, maybe that's not helping my argument that we did more than eat ice cream! Happy Memorial Day, everyone!

P.S. Now that Brie is 10 months old...and Sammy 29 months old, it's hard not to think back to this time last year. I was very pregnant with Brie...and Sammy was a rolly-polly, just-walking 17-month-old. Here he is playing with his buddy Grace.
