"Great day, Daddy! Great day!"

Well, when life gives you lemons (neighborhood pool randomly closed after being open for a week), we made lemonade (filled up the kiddie pool on the back porch)! The result was a really sweet ending to a wonderful weekend. Check out the cutie pies!

"So let me get this right, Mom. You're going to add water?"
"In here?"

The water was a bit cold for Brie, but Sammy LOVED it!!

Then we got this brilliant idea to add Sammy's slide to the equation = super fun!

Brie tried the slide, too, but still didn't love the chilly water. ;-)

Then Sammy said the cutest thing: "Great day, Daddy! Great day!" I think it's fair to say that the pool and slide were a big hit!

"Maybe we can try it again when the water's warmer, Daddy?" Sounds good, Brie!
