Back to our story...it poured the day before our wedding, but lucky for us...our big day was free of precipitation and pleasantly cool. This meant that our guests weren't hot and sweaty, and we got lots of great outdoor photos. We said our "I dos" under a chuppah of bamboo and cherry blossoms. We ate sushi and cheesecake, and danced to everything from John Lennon to The Drifters. We marveled at the distance that some of our guests had traveled--from as far away as Australia and Japan! We were touched and tickled by the thoughtful (and funny!) speeches that Tony's brother and my sister gave. We were blessed to be surrounded by a room full of our loving family members and closest friends. We even left by boat (since we got married under a tent on the shore of Linkhorn Bay in my home town of Virginia Beach, Virginia)! It was the perfect day. How fun to think back and remember when Mr. and Mrs. began...
