I think we can all agree that, no matter what the occasion, a good laugh is welcome! Luckily, parenthood seems to have one or two hiding behind every corner. Accordingly, I had to share this gem that I found on REI's web site last week. It's a review that was written for a pair of shoes that Sammy loved so much last summer/fall that we bought them in two sizes...and we just ordered another pair for the warmer weather we've been having. They breathe, stay on well, and don't require socks. Apparently, several other parents love them, too, even if it's for a
different reason. Without further ado, the review reads:
"We have a baby who is just learning to walk, and has feet shaped like little charcoal briquettes - short and puffy. Adorable, but hard to find shoes for. I bought these at our local store and could NOT be happier. They open up completely on the side, making them a cinch to put on, and the velcro strap is adjustable for all kinds of little feet. These are definitely her favorite shoes."
Anyone else laughing out loud now??
