Happy Tanabata, everyone!! It's that time of the year again when Tony and I think about Japan and the many summer festivals and holidays we celebrated there, including Tanabata!
I first celebrated Tanabata at Middlebury College's Japanese summer school back in 1997. I think it's a wonderful reason to celebrate each July 7th--a fun combination of summer stargazing and Romeo and Juliet.
Here are some photos of Sammy from Tanabata 2009 and 2010. Our little guy has really grown!
