"Incognito?" "No, in Colorado!"

'Tis the season for summer vacations and we kicked off our summer with a bang! We recently flew to Colorado to join my folks and Beth in sunny (and humidity-free) Beaver Creek! 

Sammy was REALLY excited to sit by the window and see all of the airplanes!

We spent a lot of time outside since the weather was absolutely perfect.

We also had many delicious meals in Colorado--everything from German cuisine to sushi!

The photo of Granddaddy Rob and Sammy walking together in Vail after dinner and this one of Brie are both out of order, but thanks to Blogspot's new formatting...no matter what I do, I can't move them. (sigh)


We took a gondola to the top of Vail Mountain.

Sammy visited this bulldozer (by the playground) MANY times!

We also enjoyed a really nice local indoor pool. It was perfect for kids of all ages!

And, of course, there was plenty of time to relax and goof off!

This brave soul was trying to kayak upstream...about 100 feet from our restaurant!

These orange flowers were everywhere! I don't think they're poppies. Any guesses??
