Everybody wants to be a cat!

Brie recently made her community theater debut, and it was a blast to watch. It all started when she auditioned with a short monologue (the kids could pick from two) and part of a song (their choice). Brie sang the first half of "You're Welcome" from Moana. :-)

We soon found out that she was cast as Scat Cat in Aristocats Kids! All three of our kids love that movie--it's a frequent choice when they select DVDs for long car trips--so everybody was excited that Brie got such a fun role. It turns out that Brie's classmates/friends Ellie and Samantha got parts in the play, too!

After weeks of rehearsing, it was showtime! The Sharonville Performing Arts theater is quaint and small...perfect for children's theater!
