Well-timed Mother Nature

No stress about streets being plowed, school being delayed (or even cancelled) and after-school activities getting postponed...we had a snowy weekend! We got about 3" on Saturday and 4" more on Sunday...possibly the most we've had while living in Cincinnati. It lent itself to A LOT of wintery fun for two days!!

And that meant Tony had to shovel. Twice. 😐

It also meant that we got in some serious sledding!

And we watched the 1981 version of Clash of the Titans since Sam just read the Greek myth story in school. The graphics and special effects are seriously sub-par, but everyone really enjoyed the movie, nonetheless. (Beth and I loved it as kids and we didn't mind the cheesy claymation one bit!)

We also baked a new cupcake recipe and had fun decorating them...

And then we celebrated a birthday party! You know, for fun! So if your birthday is in January, here's to you!

Yay, for snowy days! We just heard that there might be more precipitation on the way...hopefully, that means more fun, too!
