It's School Time!

The 2017-2018 school year has begun! All three kids headed back--Brie to 2nd grade, Sammy to 3rd and Sebastian to the 3's--on Wednesday. Everyone had an outstanding first day!

It's been fun to see all the gears turning and light bulbs lighting up since the school year started. Our house has been all abuzz with ideas for books to write (Sammy), what to bring for show and tell (Brie) and the laundry list of snacks that they eat at school (Sebastian). You can tell that it's an exciting time! Here's to a fabulous year!

P.S. Did I mention that we made the most of the days leading up to the start of school?? We visited the coolest playgrounds...

Just happened to notice that UDF is running a special on Sherbet shakes...

Enjoyed a sleepover in the basement...

 Ate a delicious lunch at Steak-and-Shake...

And even penned letters to our new teachers to say, "Here I come!"

Maybe it's a good thing that school has resumed...we need a break from summer! ;-)
