Play That Song

Over the weekend, Tony was playing "Heart and Soul" on the piano, and Brie asked if he was playing Train's "Play that Song." Funny, huh? This made me think about how countless songs have been redone over the years...and how my kids didn't even know that "Play that Song" was based on a big hit from many decades back.

Then I thought about how Brie and Sebastian have been enjoying the dog guitars...

that she and Sammy loved when they were much younger.

It never gets old for us parents to see our kids rediscover something they enjoyed years ago and breathe new life into it. Here's to timeless music, toys and fun! Play that song!!
