Growing Up De Falco

Sebastian has made some advances in growing up lately, which are worthy of being noted on this blog. (Right??) Shortly before preschool kicked off, he launched himself from his crib, so we knew right away that it was time to move to a "big boy bed." He loved the idea...
He even practiced in his "Thomas bed" (named after the train on his sheets)...
And pretended to sleep in it...
And was thrilled to share a room with Sammy (Sebastian's first roommate!) and it was mutual. Has he been (for real) sleeping well in his new bed? Not exactly, but we're working on it...
Who got the best end of this deal?? Brie!! She now has her own room and a bigger bed. She is happy, happy in her new space and sleeps nice and late every morning. Lucky her!
Soccer season is in full swing in our house...so who cheers for the #10s in our life??
Sebastian, of course! He loves to yell his big sibs's names and "Shoot it!" Ha!
Sebastian is a kid after Sam and Brie's hearts...he loves Dora the Explorer (here he is in his "vintage" Dora shirt that is, of course, a hand-me-down)...
And he LOVES preschool just like the big kids did!
And thanks to Sam and Brie, Sebastian is learning about all sorts of things. Worms, for example...
And the many uses of the straw.
How about the yumminess of rainbow-sprinkle donuts on a Sunday morning?
And the awesomeness of amusement parks! (Brie was happy to squeeze into this boat to keep Sebastian company on his very first Coney Island ride.)
And Sam said, "I'll ride the turtle with you, Sebastian!" What a lucky little guy, indeed!
As you can tell, we're having so much fun watching Sebastian and his big sibs in action...everybody growing up De Falco!
