Walk for the Kids 2015

Every fall--for four years running--our family has participated in the Cincinnati's Children's Hospital's Walk for the Kids. The walk raises money for the hospital, as well as the sick children who are treated there. Did I mention it was at the zoo again??

This year, the temperature was mild and, as you can see, the landscaping was beautiful for early fall. Time to start!

Walking around the zoo during off-hours has its advantages. The kids got to see owls and other animals up close...

We got front-row seats at many of the exhibits, including the Painted Dogs. Sebastian LOVES dogs these days, so he said, "Woof woof!" over and over while watching them run around. :-)

And there were no lines for face (and arm!) painting...

We had a wonderful time at the walk and look forward to next year's! It's a great cause and fun for the whole family!

P.S. Speaking of families, I spotted this window sticker on a car recently. Made me laugh!
