Less than 8 weeks left!

I'm 32 weeks and feeling pretty good despite the fact Baby D3 is increasingly running out of real estate and his movements are a lot stronger lately! 

We're starting to get some baby things done these days, including putting together a lantern bouquet for the nursery.  (This was my inspiration, but it was more fun to buy the pieces separately and assemble it on our own!) No, I am not hiding a lantern under my shirt...

Here it is hanging in the nursery.  (Please ignore all of the baby laundry on the bed.  It's been fun to wash and sort Sammy's and Brie's old clothing, but it's no small task!) Yes, that is a pink fan on the ceiling; the previous owners had two daughters, so this used to be a little girl's room. We painted it blue when we moved in, but the fan will probably stay. I doubt Baby will mind!

And if you look back on the toward the door, you can see the crib! We assembled that over the weekend, and it was fun to see it again. Still looks great!  (Here's the original post from when we put the crib together for Sammy in 2008. It always makes me laugh because my good friend Whitney actually thought we built the crib from scratch! Not quite! Haha.)

And here I am...growing, growing, growing.  Can't wait to meet this little guy!

And Sammy lost his first tooth! (Yes, he was already missing one; here's the scoop on that.) This is his first tooth that fell out naturally. He was VERY excited. He hoped that the Tooth Fairy would leave a "force field" under his pillow, but alas, that was too much to ask of her. Instead he got four shiny quarters to use as he pleases...probably at one of those toy gumball machines that he's always hoping we'll give him quarters for...hehe.  I worried a bit that Brie would be jealous, but she was very gracious and said, "I am very so happy that Sammy was visited by the tooth fairy." Too cute!!

Well, we're headed to bed...after a story, of course!! Best to get sleep while we can because June is NEXT month!!
