SUPER Bowl Sunday

It was a snowy Super Bowl weekend here in Cincinnati, so we spent a lot of time enjoying the fluffy, white stuff!

And the kids got to go sledding for the first time ever! Here we are at Montgomery Park!

Brie says, "I want to ride in the front!"

And...what time was it earlier this evening??  Super Bowl time!! You may recall that Tony and I lived in Baltimore for five years after college (yes, I was in Japan for one of those years, but Tony was in B'more for the entire five). We went to grad school there; we bought our first home there; we were newlyweds there! And...the Ravens won the Super Bowl in January 2001, that very first year we were in Charm City. So...of course we were rooting for the Ravens tonight, and hoping that Ray Lewis could go out on a high note after his 17-year career (exclusively with the Baltimore Ravens).
Sporting our Ravens' purple!
For the record, Sammy sleeps with this blanket EVERY night.
The game wasn't pretty, and we could have done without the nail-biting, but we won! 34-31!
Victory!
P.S. Sammy and his classmates made their own little groundhogs (and fake shadows) in school on Friday. Did Phil see his shadow in Montgomery, Ohio, yesterday? Not. A. Chance. Early spring, anyone?
