On the run!

If you do something twice, it's a tradition, right? Well, Tony and I have determined that pretty much every family activity we enjoy in November and December has become a favorite tradition in our house. Here are a few examples:

Recently, Brie and I ran our second Girls on the Run 5K together. We had just as much fun as the year before, but did a better job of bundling up for the cold temps (mostly 30s) and made an effort to stay in the sunshine before we started. We ran nearly all of the race and had a great time!!

You can tell it was a beautiful day...
Brie spotted buddy Paige right before we started!
I didn't get many shots during the race, but here we are wrapping up!
See me and Brie on the far right? (The next few were taken by the race photographer. )

We did it! Let's message Dad and the boys!
Woohoo!
Then we went to the mall and Brie got her ears pierced. She was thrilled!! I'm thinking this does NOT need to be a tradition. 😉
Sam and Braeden have enjoyed a sleepover or two recently...

Donuts make every breakfast better!
Brie and Paige had a blast at the same Brunch with Santa that they enjoyed last year.
We had our buddies from NC over for brunch recently. It was wonderful to catch up with them and marvel at how much all the kids have grown.
I attended my fifth Challah Bake...always a blast!
And delicious!
Our annual trip to Entertrainment Junction!
And the lights at Sharon Woods!
This year they had a 3D component, which the kids thought was very cool!
And the Storybook Holiday Progressive! Always a fun time!
Late-night silliness!
I could write an entirely separate post on all the foods that we love to bring out this year...also traditions! I'll leave that till the holidays. Hope you're getting in the spirit...the countdown (sprint!) has begun!!
