Fall has sprung!

I'm willing to bet that many of you have pumpkin spice lattes, jeans and fall foliage on the brain these days! Don't even try to deny it! For me, though, I have other little pleasures that spring up in the fall.

1. Fall cleaning! Each fall, the kids resume Sunday School, which gives me and Tony a few hours each Sunday morning to knock out items on our collective to-do list. Tidying up around the house; purging old clothes and toys and making runs to Goodwill; and cleaning out the garage always make the cut! (I posted this about two years ago. We never pulled the trigger on a full Konmari, but we still might one day.)
2. Dark nail polish colors. Like really dark. In September, I wore Umpires Come Out At Night, followed by A Grape Affair. Now I'm onto Lincoln Park After Dark. LOVE dark polish!!
3. Soccer! We're more than halfway through the season and it's so fun to watch the kids improve over the weeks. Last weekend, the league introduced "Silent Soccer Weekend," and we weren't allowed to cheer. (You could clap reasonably.) It was SO hard on the fans!!
Speaking of fans, Fiona was out in full force at the zoo today!!
She's tiny (for a hippo), but still easy to spot!
4. Halloween costumes! Sam's been ready for weeks; Sebastian's just came in the mail; and Brie and I will be tackling her DIY costume very soon. I love seeing what they choose each year (no spoilers here!).

I also love hanging out with my neighbors. The ladies of Storybook headed downtown for a Reds baseball game on Friday, but no surprise...we ended up going out for dinner and drinks instead since we were having so much fun being together.
5. Pumpkin spice lattes, jeans and fall foliage. I'm only human! ;-) Oh, and homemade ice cream, of course!!
Happy fall!!
