You know what we squeezed in between school ending and summer camp starting? Our annual beach week in Virginia Beach! On our way, we grabbed dinner with good friends who moved from Ohio to Virginia last winter. Can you count the smiles??
And then we enjoyed a wonderful week in VB...complete with snuggles...
Good laughs...
Warm water...
And sunny skies!
Oh, and mole crabs!
And since it's summer, you know we had ice cream out on the porch!
Picked out new sneaks!
And got in lots of grandparent time!
Also noteworthy: Brie inherited a beach cruiser from one of Gammy's students. It was great timing since she outgrew her first bike a few months back. She got a big kick out of riding it around the Cavalier Hotel grounds.
More new adventures? We tried out the golf cart service that takes you down to the beach! Here's us riding in style!
We also got a sitter for the kids one night, so we could enjoy a delicious seafood dinner with Gammy and Granddaddy Rob.
One highlight of our trip was playing a round of Jungle Golf together. The kids are the perfect ages for putt-putt!!
Also memorable? When Brie sets her mind to something, watch out. She was all about jumping off the diving board in the deep end of the pool this vacation, so she took the plunge and then jumped again and again and again and again...
As you can tell, seeing family and enjoying all the sunshine made for a perfect vacation.
We can't wait for our next Beach Week!
We ended our visit with an early Father's Day celebration. I love a good Father's Day card. Here are this year's...starting with Granddaddy Rob's. Ha!

We got home just in time for camp. Woohoo!
And then Sebastian started Soccer Camp! Happy happy!
As you can tell, our summer is in full swing!
P.S. We also squeezed in Brie's dance recital before camp started. She rocked out even with her arm brace!
