Happy 2018! We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. We've been celebrating for weeks...Hanukkah, Sam's birthday, more Hanukkah, Christmas, more holiday gifts from more generous relatives, New Year's...you get the picture!
Here are the highlights from our 2017 holiday season!
A holiday
a capella concert starring Sebastian's classmate's dad!
Hanukkah lights! We even celebrated with the new menorah that Sebastian made at school! (The candle holes were so small that we used birthday candles!)
And a surprisingly popular gift: The Soggy Doggy! It really sprays!
We also spun around like dreidels at a Hanukkah party...
And then switched gears for a few holiday parties at school!
Then we hit the road for Virginia. Good thing the adults were driving...
We gobbled up Uncle Ralph's delicious pizza...
And played a game (or two) of Italian cards!
Visited with old friends...
And visited our nation's capital, too!
And then delighted in what Santa brought us!
Cousins!!
And more cousin fun with bowling and fussball!
And more fun...Hexbugs and their maze was another huge holiday hit.
Even though it was chilly out, we took advantage of the sunshine...
And the beautiful nighttime view!
We also played board games...
Dined on rockfish with a curry sauce (just the ladies)!
And cheered on ODU basketball!
They won (89-58) over UNC Charlotte!
We returned to a beautiful snowfall in Cincy (so you know the kids HAD to sled in the backyard)!
And then we kicked off the new year with our Japanese neighbors...Nihon-style, baby!
