First days of school

On Tuesday, we celebrated the last day of summer vacation with some pool time...

And then on Wednesday, Sam and Brie started school! It was exciting and much-anticipated...and WET! And dark! It felt a bit like I was putting them on the bus at 6 a.m., but what can you do?!

Grab your umbrellas, everyone!

Let's try to stay dry...

while we wait for the bus! Luckily, it came on time!

By the afternoon, the sun came out, and Sebastian and I were eager to hear how the first day went!

How did Day 1 go? It was a big success!! (See how lush and green our neighborhood is? That's because we got a year's worth of rain earlier that day!)

Here's Day 2 at the bus stop...a much sunnier and drier morning!

Then today, Sebastian had HIS first day of preschool!!

Just like when his big sibs started, I stayed with him this morning...and he had a blast. Fingers crossed that he loves it when he's flying solo next week!!
