It's no secret that we loved our years in Durham and one big reason was our neighbors! Colony Hill was full of interesting, kind people who we loved getting to know during our 5 1/2 years in North Carolina. It's also no secret that our next-door neighbor Tom became a dear friend to us while we were there, and we've enjoyed multiple reunions with him since we moved to Cincinnati since the Queen City happens to be his hometown!
It's been just under a year since
Tom's last visit and this reunion was just as fun. The kids were very excited to see him, show off their art/lego creations and play in the backyard.
Sebastian was a little shy (as usual), but Tom quickly figured out that swinging is a great icebreaker.
This visit was extra special because Tom brought his new girlfriend Sue. We liked her immediately and the kids thought she was wonderful. We're so happy that they've found each other!
We look forward to our next get-together and many more fun times!
