School's out for summer!

We can hardly believe it, but another school year has come to an end. Here are Sam, Sebastian and Brie back in the fall on the first day of school...

And here they are on the last day of school! All three of them have grown, especially Sebastian (of course)! Sammy can read now (he was just beginning to learn when school started) and Brie has a pretty solid list of sight words going; collectively, they made about 1,000 pieces of art and brought them home to exuberantly share; and they have made wonderful friends who we'll enjoy play dates and birthday parties with for years to come. It's been an outstanding year!

Two thumbs up for summer vay-cay!

Ms. Toni, Brie and Ms. Maddie had an amazing year, too. Brie has already asked when she can visit her beloved pre-K teachers, or "go out for Mexican" with them over the summer. Hehe.

The 2014-2015 school year will be hard to beat! Here's to a relaxing and fun summer break!

P.S. The kids' last day also marked the end of three wonderful years at their fabulous school. It's the only school Brie has ever attended, and the one that will come to mind when either of them thinks of preschool. It's hard not be a bit sad that this chapter is coming to a close, but our local elementary school has an excellent reputation and we're excited about the new friends, experiences and adventures in learning that are to come!
