De Falco Family Vacation: Party of Five!

Last weekend, we took our first vacation as a family of five! We rode on one bus and one tram...
flew on one plane...
and drove one rental car...
so we could enjoy four days in sunny Florida!
The kids were so excited to enjoy some beach time.
Brie practiced a little ballet while the sun set...
And we introduced Sebastian to the Gulf Coast!
The next few mornings, we got to splash and swim in the water...
collect shells, snorkel...
and sit back and take it all in (both visually and by mouth--Sebastian sampled quite a bit of sand).
The kids found a few fine marine life specimens (we did put this guy back)...
and built sandcastles with new friends!
Sammy and Brie could do this every day for a month and be on Cloud 9.
When we weren't enjoying the beach or pool, we read books, watched TV and played board games.
And Sebastian had some serious snoozes.
What would vacation be without delicious food?! Sam and Brie discovered that they love fish tacos; sometimes the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. ;-)
Me and my favorite little ones on Mother's Day!
"We love the beach, Mom!"
Yay, for our Party of Five! Can't wait for the next vacation!
P.S. Our trip was nearly flawless: Frontier lost all three car seats on our return flight, so Sam and Brie rode home from the airport with just seat belts and Sebastian sat in Brie's too-big car seat. Dozens of calls later, we were able to track down the car seats, and it only took Tony driving back to the airport for us to retrieve them! I guess that's what we get for flying a budget airline!
