Yesterday and Today

This was our dining room table yesterday:

And this was it today! All dolled up and ready for my dinner club!

We got to use our new china, which was a special gift from Tony's parents' neighbor. The plates went beautifully with the gold chargers that I nabbed from my mom!

Each setting got a shiny apple with a little "leaf" with something I'm thankful for this year.

No surprise, but I'm thankful for my dinner club, too. Eight smart, funny, successful women who inspire me to try new foods, cook complicated recipes, and feed stinky cheeses and random nuts to my kids; they have welcomed me with open arms, and I feel so spoiled to be a part of such a wonderful group!
