Since we recently bought a
grown-up table and matching chairs to go in our dining room, we decided it was time to sell our table and chairs that we'd had since Tony started grad school in Baltimore. There was only one dilemma: the seat covers that my mom and I put on in Durham were looking pretty sad. That's what happens when you have two little people with sticky fingers at mealtimes!
Exhibit A:
So I bought a curtain at Target since I loved the pattern and it felt like a washable/wipeable fabric. (And who doesn't like the name
Farrah?!) It was only $19.99 (minus 5%--yay, Target Red Card!) and one panel worked for all four chairs!
Exhibit B:
And here's the end result--thanks to the wonderful gift of my staple gun from my mother-in-law last year (also in the photo)!
Exhibit C:
What do you think? Are we going to make a sale at our upcoming yard sale this Saturday??
