TWICE the celebration

Brie is one lucky two-year-old. On her official birthday--July 19--we enjoyed a little cake and presents...

which meant Brie thoroughly enjoyed her raspberries and angel food cake...

and Sammy thoroughly enjoyed opening Brie's presents! At least Auntie B got to watch on Skype!

Then over the weekend, we had an official party to celebrate Brie's TWO-ness!

It was wonderful hosting friends, family and neighbors in our new backyard!

  

Of course, Tony and I couldn't pass on an opportunity to make Brie a special cake: Boots!

P.S. After all that celebrating, it only made sense to hit Blue Ash Chili and enjoy some Cincinnati Chili! Dad got the 6-way, complete with jalapeño poppers! Did I mention that Guy Fieri visiting B.A.C. with his show Diners, Drive-ins & Dives??

and vanilla milkshake!

Post-dinner exercise??  We burned off a little chili playing some more Cornhole. Perfect weather, fun with new and old friends alike, and some good eats, too?  It was a perfect day! Happy Birthday, Gabriella Eve!!
