Road Trip to Charleston and the APS Walk for the Animals 2010

Phew! It's hot and I'm thirsty! Good thing I figured out this straw thing...just in time for summer!

I even got my first pair of flip-flops, so my toes would be nice and cool in this hot weather!
Guess what else is perfect for summertime?? A road trip to South Carolina!! (It was my first time visiting the state to the south!)

I had heard from Mariellen, Will and James (my good friends in Baltimore) that the place to stop when you're driving south is South of the Border. So I kept my eyes peeled and then I spotted it!

It was every bit as tacky and silly as I had pictured...and I even got to try on a sombrero!

Daddy made a much better Pedro than I did, though!

Can you guess why we drove to SC?

We went to visit Mom and Dad's friends from UVa: Ginny and Andrew...and their son Connor...in beautiful Charleston! Even though Connor is a super big kid (three years old), we had fun playing together! I really liked all of his cool toys...and he has a "Connor" chair, just like I do!

We went to the Charleston Aquarium!I loved all of the cool fish and birds!

Here's Captain Connor!

The aquarium is on the waterfront...can you tell we had great weather??

It was breezy!

Here's a great shot of Dad and Bailey (Connor's St. Bernard). He's much bigger than Puppy Dog Jack, but just as sweet...and furry!

Here are Mom and Ginny!

And here's one of me and Connor with our mommies!

This past weekend, Granddaddy Rob and Gammy to visit! We had a great time playing!

Look! Gammy brought me a UVa orange chair!

I cannot get enough of my basketball!

And here we are at the dog walk! For the fourth year in a row (my second), Mom and Dad--and the rest of the Canine Crew--participated in the APS Walk for the Animals! This year our team raised $355 for this great cause!

There's my neighbor Stacey!

Aren't we cute??

In this one, I'm giving the photographer a sneaky look...

Go, Canine Crew!!

I mentioned before that I'm a bit obsessed with my basketball. The same applies to my soccer ball. I thought of the most clever way to practice my "throw-in" and entertain myself on the way back from SC! And check out my footwork (I'm only 17 months old!).
