Oh, the Places You'll Go!

And the places I've gone to! I added two more states to my repertoire last weekend: Connecticut and Massachusetts! "What about all of the states in between North Carolina and Massachusetts?" you ask. Well, I skipped those because I went by airplane! That's right! I flew from Durham to Baltimore and then Baltimore to Hartford...and then back again. What fun!

I even slept for most of the flights...travel is exhausting!

We visited Aunt Diane and Aunt Katya in Holyoke, MA. They are so fun and took great care of me. And so did their dogs, Ginger and Linus. They made sure that I got plenty of kisses and wasn't far from sight.

We visited the Eric Carle Museum for the 40th anniversary of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar." The museum is wonderful and I learned a lot about children's books and illustrations. I also napped well there!

We spent a lot of time by the pool, too. Here's me under an umbrella enjoying July in New England!

Fun with Aunt Diane (who said lots of funny things) and Dad!

In this pic, I'm saying, "Aunt Katya, pass the guacamole!"

Before my very first trip to a zoo, we visited the Dr. Seuss Sculpture Garden! "Sam, I am!" Literally.

Aunt Diane loves the Lorax!

On our way home, Mom and I spotted the new College of Notre Dame poster (and tagline) in BWI! So cool!

Here's me being silly in my green striped pajamas and hat from Granny!

Dad and I read, "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" together after we got home. It made me a little hungry, too!

Guess who came to visit?! Aunt Jackie! We had a great time snuggling and getting to know each other. I can't wait to meet her daughter Jordan this fall!

Go Hoos!
P.S. Mom took a picture of me in Dad's favorite sleeper: "Mommy's Little Monster." It was a gift from Marco and Neva's grandmom and I got a ton of use out of it. Well, I've officially outgrown it (insert tear), but we got one last photo before it was retired...mainly because Mom and Dad never thought I ever would outgrow it. Look at how big it was on me on Christmas Day 2008. I've grown a lot in seven months... Go me!
