Keeping busy this winter (as told by Sammy)...

I've been busy this winter! First of all, it snowed in Durham! It was my first snow and, as you can tell, I was very excited about it. (Mom was excited because I got to wear my first polar fleece jacket!) That was a great day because it snowed AND I got to listen to (and nap during) President Obama's inauguration speech. Yay!
Mom took a bunch of photos for me...in some pictures, I was smiley and relaxed. Here's one of me striking a serious pose.

In these pics, I'm modeling Italian fashion! My bib says, "Very Important Piccerill." That means I'm a very important "little guy" in Neapolitan. In the other photo, I'm wearing my "home from the hospital" outfit: it finally fits!!

Here I am in mom's orange pajamas; was she really once my size??

In January, I left the state of North Carolina and went north to Virginia! It was my biggest trip yet! Mom's family got together and celebrated Granddaddy Rob's birthday.

I got to meet Great-Grandma Janis for the first time! She smells nice and knew just what to do to calm me down!

And this is Granny (Great-Grandma Lonia)! Her favorite thing is kisses, kisses, kisses! She was happy to see that I'm plumping up!

And here I am chatting with Uncle Fred. He LOVES babies, especially baby boys (since he had two)! He couldn't wait to hold me...and even change diapers!
And here I am looking all dapper for the party! I'm wearing a striped sweater from Zio Enzo and Zia Rosita in Italy...and khakis from Old Navy...and socks that look like Converse tennis shoes...thanks Meg and Bob!
More soon...
