The past couple of months literally got away from us, but here's a quick recap of the wonderful spring we had!
The third grade had their annual show--it was a dizzying mix of international songs and dances, and the kids moving around in between each.
Sebastian spoke about peace!
At Sycamore Schools, you know it's springtime when Pancake Day rolls around. As always, there was lots of art...
And music concerts!
Brie got to introduce one of the 7th grade songs.
Speaking of art, our neighborhood group enjoyed a night out at the Cincinnati Museum of Art. We all wore black and white for the Georgia O'Keeffe black and white photography exhibit. Wish the docent had zoomed out just a bit more... π
This gave us a good laugh--Yoda Sebastian won the Star Wars prize pack at this year's Purim carnival and that included a Baby Yoda pancake mold. Ha!
They actually were cute AND delicious!
This year's Purim Shpiel theme was Encanto--a great cast, starring villager Brie!

The Junior High musical Footloose was SO SO good. The kids are incredibly talented and Brie loved being part of the show. Brie's in the back row here (in the red plaid).

Also...Blossom turned two! We ordered doggie carrot cakes for her, which were a very big hit.
Then we headed to Florida for spring break!
Since Ft. Myers is still bouncing back from Hurricane Ian, we spent the week in Bonita Springs. It was every bit as lovely (and sunny and warm, of course)!
One of the highlights was getting to overlap with Gammy and Granddaddy Rob for a few days...
Which means Lolly was there, too!!
We played lots of Scrabble...
Went back to our favorite sushi spot...
And survived the gator at Golf Safari. Ha!
Slurpees!
And more pool time!
Being in Bonita Springs meant we got to try tons of new restaurants. YUM!
And the Farmer's Market!
And outdoor dining, of course!
When we got home, who guessed who missed us the most??
Spring Break sleepover!

A small setback? Blossom chased after a squirrel and gave one of my fingers a hairline fracture. Ouch.
I could tell she was sincerely sorry.

We always send greetings from the Queen City!
Nonno and Nonna came to visit for Easter and Passover. We visited the Cincinnati Museum of Art and Sebastian was our docent (he had gone not long before on a school field trip). He knew all of the highlights to hit!
Which grandparents caved and bought Bas a mega Lego kit? You guessed it!
