Back to school (including two new ones)!

Our summer was full of fun and went so quickly! Cool treats...

Camp performances...

And wrap-up. Farewell until next summer, Camp Wildbrook! Sebastian can't wait to go!

 We had a visit from Sue and Tom--our former neighbors in North Carolina...

 Samuel and Brie had their first piano recital (with a Luau theme)! 

 And a red carpet beforehand...

 Brie and I went to see Mamma Mia at the high school. It was fabulous!

My dinner club tried Sacred Beast. YUMMMM!

We enjoyed yoga with Gammy...

 Some art...

 And soccer...

 And a visit to the zoo!

 We even fed the giraffes for the first time!

The kids love Kids Taste-testing Day at the Farmer's Market!

 They tried a lot of yummy foods!

And then Gammy and I saw John Isner play in the Western & Southern Open. SO fun!!

Suddenly it was time for school...and Meet the Teacher night! Brie met her new teacher (who we know from years past) and Sebastian was pretty excited to get Brie's old teacher for kindergarten!

Sebastian hugged Ms. Hayes and then they had this conversation...
Ms. Hayes: "What's your name?"
Sebastian: "I'm Sebastian. What's your name?"
Hayes: "I'm Ms. Hayes."
Sebastian: "Oh! I'm in Ms. Hayes' class, too!" 😂

Later that evening Samuel set out his things for 5th grade!

Then early the next morning (6:45 a.m.!), he was off to the intermediate school!

And Brie was off to 4th grade!

And then finally Sebastian got his turn...

to ride the bus and go off to kindergarten!

It's going to be a great year!!
