Our Fifth 4th

We hope that everyone had a very happy July 4th...ours was wonderful! We enjoyed two parties with good friends...including fireworks for the kids and some pool time, too!

We also enjoyed a delicious brunch with Brie's first grade teacher Ms. Sterkin and her husband David. It was lots of fun hosting the two of them and watching Brie spend quality time with Ms. Sterkin. They are two peas in a pod!
We also had a great time at Montgomery's annual July 4th parade!
Being at the parade this year felt like a special anniversary for us since it's been exactly five years since our first July 4th...right after we moved to Cincinnati in 2012. Look how much our kids (and family!) have grown!
The kids are always in it for the music (this is the ever-popular "Santa Band" below), cool vehicles and CANDY!
Sebastian even scored a s'more from the Boy Scouts!
That evening Tony and I joined a few thousand Cincinnati locals at the park near us for...REO Speedwagon!! We've been fans forever...pretty awesome that they were the main act for Red, White and Blue Ash!
They played all their biggest hits: "Can't Fight this Feeling," "Take it on the Run," "Time for Me to Fly," "Keep on Loving You," and "Keep on Rollin'." And the band still sounds great live!
Happy Independence Day!!
