Sammy, Brie and Sebastian have been waiting patiently for weeks and weeks now...for many things! They've been looking forward to...
Nonno and Nonna coming to visit! So we could enjoy lunch together at school...
Do lots of arts and crafts...
Play spirited card games...
Visit Sebastian at Rock Tots...
Go out for ribs and barbecue...
And celebrate that spring had arrived...
but then it snowed! In early April...how nuts is that?!
But don't worry...spring made a comeback a few days later, so we hit the parks!
And our parsley finally sprouted! We've been waiting forever for this!
And what about playing soccer?? Even though the season officially started a few weeks back, most of our practices have been rained out and last week's games were (as you saw above) snowed out! So the kids have been waiting patiently for their first games...yesterday and today!
Sammy's team won both games...
And Brie's team won one of the two they played. Can you tell that a cold drink and a snack can make any win even better??
The kids also have been eagerly awaiting Teruko Sensei's return from a trip to Japan, so they could have another lesson! Their buddy Ellie joined them for this class...everyone had a great time!
As you can see, good things come to those who wait...for weeks and weeks!
P.S. There was a little bit of
impatient waiting, too, by the end of the fourth soccer game in two days. Can you blame Sammy??
