Recognize this famous painting? Well, we've had some fun family photos taken recently, and I thought, "Glad they didn't look like this one!" Hehe.
Here are the kids with Tony's folks in July:
And with my parents at the beach this past week:
I'll leave you with one last family photo, which my aunt passed along to my dad recently. It's of my great-grandparents Walter and Opal with their daughters Nadine and (my Grandma) Janis and their families. That means that the cute little boy on the bottom right is my dad! (He's with his dad--my Granddaddy Bob, my Aunt Jan and my Uncle Bill--who's on my grandmother's lap.) On the left side, are Don and Nadine with their children. What a beautiful family!!
Considering our family is made up of German, Polish and Italian immigrants, we may not be the all-American American Gothic, but we are pretty representative of most American families these days. And far more smiley!
P.S. More pics of our wonderful beach vacation coming soon!
