We can hardly believe it ourselves, but Friday marked one year since we bought our home here on Adventure Lane. A year ago, Tony and I had flown out to Cincinnati for a whirlwind, 36-hour house-hunting trip that had many ups and downs. We found several homes we liked, but many of them sold the first day we were looking! And it was tougher than we thought it would be to find the perfect blend of great home, big backyard for kids, excellent schools, reasonable commute for Tony AND fair price. But, as with our other two homes, we had very good fortune (with a little help from our wonderful realtor) in finding a home that's perfect for us.
And now, a year later, we're enjoying everything that comes with our house, including quality time in the driveway (funny, huh?), where the kids play, ride bikes, have
impromptu rock concerts, and so much more...
Did I mention that any day is a good day for Mardi Gras beads??
or stroller races...
(And, yes, if you lose the race, you're fully entitled to a little
alone time away from your stroller.)

We're so enjoying our new digs in Cincinnati. Happy one-year anniversary of ownership to us!
